Sunday Funday

Written by Melissa Wise

As an avid football fan, I remember when Sunday Funday was a day spent in the bar with my friends eating wings and drinking beer until I sadly had to return home to make sure I was able to get up for work the next day.

Now, it has a very different meaning.

We stumbled upon a fantastic Sunday Funday spot this past weekend and certainly will return.

House of 'Que (in the old 340 spot) on the waterfront was a perfect mix of activities for your little one and fun for adults too. Their large picnic tables make it easy to make a reservation and be accommodated (we were 7 adults and two highchairs.). They have changing tables and allow strollers also!

We wound up eating our weight in delicious bbq, knocking back some adorable mimosas, smoky bloody marys, and spiked teas in mason jars, and enjoying the acoustic guitarist. Our kids were dancing in their seats. They also had a balloon animal maker on stilts for the kids....Elmo and a little dog joined our table thanks to him.

These activities are apparently always there on Saturdays and Sundays. We got the added bonus of a meet and greet with the Easter bunny and a little Easter egg hunt for our kids also.

We highly recommend checking this out and will likely see you there!
