A few months ago we welcomed Sawyer, a marketplace for children's adventures, into Hoboken. Our mile-square city has so much to offer kids, and Sawyer set out to change the way we explore the activities, classes and play spaces around town.
Melissa and I wanted to give this new service a try, so we each signed up for 1 month subscription and head out with our little ones to as many classes as we could. Some of our favorite local vendors are on Sawyer, so we were anxious to see how Sawyer would give us access to them!
Signing up for Sawyer couldn't be quicker or easier. I was set up in minutes and ready to sign up for classes. Once signed up, you can see all of the available classes and vendors in our area. Between the two of us, we went to Preschool of Rock, Musicology, Kidzmusic, Urban Jungle, Little Bee Learning Studio, Hudson House of Play, Puppetonia and more. It is a great way to try out different classes and locations!
Sawyer is great for those who want to try a new class, or want the flexibility of signing up for something different each week. It is perfect for summer and school vacations, since you can use it when you want and are not committed to a weekly class. My daughter and I were lucky find a class that we really loved! Since I want the guaranteed spot each week so that I can coordinate our schedule, and Eliza can develop friendships with the other children in the class, we have booked that directly with the vendor. However, we will definitely use Sawyer to keep exploring more classes around Hoboken (and even NYC sometimes!)
