Our Halloween craft was so well-received that we wanted to give you a cute and fun craft to do with your little one for Thanksgiving.
We know you will all be making hand turkeys, so we turned to another expert for a unique idea. Mary of Little Bee Learning Studio not only had a cute and easy craft, but suggested reading a book to your child first and then doing the craft making it a full-on project.
The book is Seed, Sprout, Pumpkin, Pie.
Here's what you'll need:
1 paper plate
1 sheet orange construction paper
1 sheet brown construction paper
1 cotton ball
Here's what you'll do:
To prepare the materials for the craft, the adult should cut the paper plate into six triangles to make the "pie slices." Then cut triangles out of orange construction paper to fit on the slice. Cut crust out of the brown construction paper.
With help, give child the glue to stick on the "pumpkin filling" to the plate. Then glue the crust around the edge of the plate. Lastly put a drop of glue for one cotton ball as the whipped cream on the pie slice!
