It is the most wonderful time of the year and this year we all have so much to celebrate, including a longer than usual holiday season! If you are as incredibly excited as I am, reference the list below for local holiday happenings.

It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play

MST brings back its family holiday classic, adapted from the beloved movie.

Pictures with Santa at House of Que for CASA

Have your child's picture taken with Santa to benefit children in foster care.

$50 for 5-10 digital photos

CASA is offering priority appointments wit Santa for a fee of $150. Call (201)795-9856 to reserve.

Adult beverages will be available throughout the day.

The Hoboken City Hall Holiday Craft Fair

Menorah Making Workshop at Home Depot

11:00 AM - 12:15 PM

Home Depot (180 12th Street, Jersey City)

Hosted by Chabad of Hoboken and Jersey City.

Calling all kids to come and build a Menorah, pick up some candles for the Menorah, enjoy some Chanukah goodies and be prepared for the festivities which begin that night. FREE and open to all - RSVPs required; limited space.

Pictures with Santa at Kolo Klub for CASA

11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Have your child's picture taken with Santa to benefit children in foster care.

For each $20 donation you will receive one glossy print to take home, as well as a digital edited copy sent later that week.

Public Menorah Lighting at Hoboken City Hall

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

City Hall (94 Washington Street)

Join the community for a show of Jewish pride as we light the Menorah outside Hoboken City Hall. For the kids: LED Menorah rings or build a dreidel lego kit.

Hot latkes, jelly and other filling Sufganiyat (Donuts), chocolate 'Gelt', Menorah kits, music and dancing.

FREE and open to all.

HFA Holiday Party and Toy Drive

3:30 PM - 6:00 PM

Kolo Klub (1422 Grand Street)

Mix and mingle! Festivities and fun for the whole family. Take a picture with Santa, enjoy live entertainment, arts and crafts, appetizers and nibbles. Please bring a new unwrapped toy or pajamas for HFA’s Annual Toy & Pajama Drive . Cash bar. Photos with Santa.

Kidzmusik Holiday Themed class for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers (and their parents/ caregivers). There will be live music with Mr. Joe & Carmen, instruments, props, and costumes!

$10 ticket includes 1 drink and shopping. A portion of ticket proceeds goes to Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
