This past Saturday night was a first for me. I had the opportunity to take my mom and my husband to see the hottest new show in town. That is Betrayal, at the new Mile Square Theatre, of course! Dinner and a show was the perfect night out in Hoboken, as part of our Easter weekend plans.

Professional actors set the stage for drama filled story of life, love, marriage and infidelity. The show keeps you guessing as the play unfolds backwards. The play is set in the 1970's. Starting the story in real-time and then and progressing back in time to where it all began, the audience eventually comes to learn how the love affair began and all of the untold secrets along the way. The truth of marriage, a splash of humor and jammed packed with emotion, Betrayal explores this journey of all three characters -Robert, Emma and Jerry. The witty banter is intriguing and exactly what Noble Prize-winning playwright, Harold Pinter, is most known for in his work.

The star studded trio shines together showcasing their long standing experience in show production and acting. Harold Pinter's Betrayal features Matthew Lawler

(ABC's The Family), Dena Tyler (CBS's Bull) and Aidan Redmond ( Broadway's The Cripple of Inishmaan). Both the theater and actors use stage props and resources wisely in a cozy yet modern space. This production is their 9th main stage work since they opened in April 2016. This is off Broadway at its best, right in our own backyard
