The Total Beauty Mom: Halloween Makeup Ideas (Minimal Costume Required!)

Between being a mom of twin toddlers and living in this little town of what’s currently known as HoBOOken, Halloween has quickly re-emerged as one of my all. time. favorite holidays. The excitement leading up to and surrounding Halloween, is undeniably contagious and makes me want to join in on the fun and get dressed up with my kids. I like to keep my costume simple usually dressing in head-to-toe black combined with a fun, statement, all-out makeup look.

Below I’ve shared three Halloween makeup ideas, plus my absolute FAVORITE Halloween look that I created a few years back.

You can achieve these looks by purchasing inexpensive Halloween makeup at CVS or Amazon, digging into your arsenal of personal makeup, and even using crafts from previous art projects. And again, minimal costume required. Pair any of these looks with some of the edgier pieces in your closet and viola! you have yourself an amazing (and inexpensive) costume.

Comment below and let me know which look is your favorite and let us know what you’re dressing up as for Halloween!
